Nude Torso

This image was shot on a high speed film and developed in a compensating developer. I use this combination so the granularity would be apparent.

Two lights were used, one was placed on either side of the frame about even with the model.

The contrast and exposure was adjusted and the image was cropped and rendered to Black & White using one of Lightroom’s Black & White presets.

June 27, 2022…Day 3203

Strange Smile

I was looking to create an ephemeral image and a little edgy. I had my model standing as far away from me as possible, I was using a very wide angle lens. I had my model moving and I used a relatively slow shutter speed. This image was taken on a high speed film and developed in a high contrast developer.

One light was used, it was placed to the left of the frame and slightly to the side of the model.

The contrast and exposure was adjusted and the image was cropped and rendered to Black & White using one of Lightroom’s Black & White presets.

June 24, 2022…Day 3200

Shaking Her Head

I wanted to create a ghost like image. I used a low contrast developer and developed to bring out the grain. I also had my model moving to help blur edges.

This image was shot on a high speed film and developed in a low contrast developer.

Two lights were used, one was placed on either side of the frame about even with the model.

The contrast and exposure was adjusted and the image was cropped and rendered to Black & White using one of Lightroom’s Black & White presets.
