Half Way Compressed

Half Way Compressed

I had the model pose like this because it created a number of interesting angles and triangles. I added some grain to conceal some discolored areas on the floor.

One light was used, it was placed to the right of the frame and in front and off to the side. of the model.

This is a digital image processed in Photoshop. The contrast and exposure were adjusted and the image was cropped and rendered to Black & White via Photoshop’s Black & White Sliders.

Check out my other blog. It is mostly film photography and film development and it goes into some technical information.

I’ve been asked if my images are for sale, most are, please ask.

Great Hair

The pose was setup so that there would be detail in the hair cascading down the model’s back.

Two lights were used, one was placed on either side of the frame. The light on the left was slightly in front of the model and the light on the right was about even with the model.

This is a digital image processed in Lightroom. The contrast and exposure were adjusted and the image was cropped and rendered to a Black & White via a Lightroom’s Black & White sliders.

The idea for this was to mimic the statue of a woman in Copenhagen Harbor, transposed to the Utah Desert.

The lighting was afternoon sun a little bright and very contrasty.

This is a digital image processed in Lightroom. The contrast and exposure were adjusted and the image was cropped and rendered to Black & White via a Lightroom’s Black & White sliders.

High Key Nude

The idea behind this image was to create an ephemeral image with the model almost fading into the background.

This is a digital image processed in Lightroom. The contrast and exposure were adjusted and the image was cropped and rendered to Black & White via a Lightroom’s Black & White sliders.

This is a digital image processed in Lightroom. The contrast and exposure were adjusted and the image was cropped and rendered to Black & White via a Lightroom’s Black & White preset.

Sitting With Legs Crossed
