Nude With Hands Up

The lights were setup to give most of the illumination to the torso so the model’s musculature is emphasized.

One light was used, it was placed to the right of the frame and slightly in front of the model..

The contrast and exposure was adjusted and the image was cropped and rendered to Black & White using Lightroom’s Black & White sliders.

Dance

Working with  a tall muscular model makes it easy to create long lines that carrying your eye the length of the frame. Note the model’s hands. The pose and the hands really make this an elegant image.

Leaning Back

I took this image while my model was resting between poses.

I added some grain to even out some harsh contrast.

Vacant Gaze Under the Coming Storm

This image was taken a little south of Moab, UT. The sky was great but in a quarter of an hour I was rained out, but Mother Nature gave me enough time to get some great shots.

One Hand By Her Side the Other in Her Hair

Continuing on the theme of hands, we have one hand supporting the model while the other in on her head. Note the muscularity of the model’s back vs. the organic characteristics of her lower body.

Two lights were used, one was placed on either side of the frame about even with the model.
