Nude Hand on Side

Nude Hand on Side

This is a section of yesterdays photo. I though a different crop, hue, and texture would improve the image. I like to know what you think?

The idea of this image is to keep the model’s hand in sharp focus while allowing her body to be slightly out on focus. Some grain was added to put some texture in the picture to give more interest in highlight areas.

A single light was used, it  was placed to the left of the frame and slightly in front of the model. This was done to get strong highlights and deep shadows.

This is a digital image processed in Lightroom. Exposure and brightness were adjusted. The image was rendered to monochrome via a Lightroom Preset, and the image was cropped.

I’ve been asked if my images are for sale, most are, please ask.

Nude on One Foot

Nude on One Foot

The model is striking a dynamic pose. She is on one foot with her arms thrown out to one side and her other foot mimicking the position of her arms, either to balance her or to spring her into the next pose.

A single light was used, it  was placed to the left of the frame and slightly in front of the model. This was done to get strong highlights and deep shadows.

An elegant pose and a sliver of light just barely lighting the model.

A single light was used, it  was placed to the left of the frame and in front of the model. This was done to get strong highlights and deep shadows.

This is a digital image processed in Lightroom. Exposure and brightness were adjusted and grain was added. The image was rendered to monochrome via a Lightroom Preset, and the image was drastically cropped.

Compression

Compression

This is such a great shape, and every model poses it slightly differently.

A single light was used, it  was placed to the left of the frame and in front of the model. This was done to get strong highlights and deep shadows.

This is a digital image processed in Lightroom. Exposure and brightness were adjusted. The image was rendered to monochrome via a Lightroom Preset, and the image was cropped.

February 23, 2014….Day 311

Nude Folded Up

Nude Folded Up

The idea behind this image was to deanthropomorphise the model. Making the light and dark areas appear like sand bars viewed under subdued lighting.

Two lights was used, one was placed to the right of the frame and to the model’s side. The second light was placed to the left of the frame and slightly in front of the model. This setup was used to help create an abstract appearance, which was further abstracted by the addition of grain.

This is a digital image processed in Lightroom. Exposure and brightness were adjusted well as a moderate amount of retouching. The image was cropped and converted to Black & White via a Lightroom preset.

February 22, 2014….Day 310

Hands on Her Back

Hands on Her Back

An interesting play of textures, smooth skin of the model’s back juxtaposed to the comparative roughness of her hands.

Two lights was used, one was placed to the right of the frame and to the model’s side. The second light was placed to the left of the frame and even with the model. This setup was used to give a three dimensional appearance and to bring out the relatives textures of the model’s skin.

This is a digital image processed in Lightroom. Exposure and brightness were adjusted locally as well as a moderate amount of retouching. The image was cropped and converted to monochrome via a Lightroom preset.

February 21, 2014….Day 309

Nude Rising From the Floor

Nude Rising From the Floor

It appears that the model is rising from the ground. She is going from darkness and entering into the light.  This was further helped via some Lightroom adjustments and the addition of a small amount of  grain to mimic the appearance of a fast film.

Two lights was used, one was placed to the leftt of the frame and in front of the model. The second light was placed to the right of the frame and slightly behind the model.

This is a digital image processed in Lightroom. Exposure and brightness were adjusted well as a moderate amount of retouching. The image was cropped and converted to Black & White via global desaturation.

An in camera technique was used to create a fog like appearance to create mysterious feeling. This was further helped via some Lightroom adjustments and the addition of grain.
