December 31, 2019…Day 2298

Arms Like Wings

I wanted to create an elegant image. The lighting helped but mostly the models pose and in particular how she held her hands made the image work.

One light was used, it was placed to the left of the frame and slightly to the side of the model.

The contrast and exposure was adjusted and the image was cropped and rendered to Black & White using Lightroom’s Black & White sliders.

Working Hands

I wanted to create an image of strength by showing working hands. In the image of broken nails and rough skin is juxtaposed to the smooth skin on her body to further the perception of quiet strength.

One light was used, it was placed to the left of the frame and slightly to the side of the model.

The contrast and exposure was adjusted and the image was cropped and rendered to Black & White using Lightroom’s Black & White sliders.
