Dancing in the Smoke

Dancing in the Smoke

The long lines created by the model and the arc of her torso and arms make a strong statement. The feeling is further enhanced by the smoke.

One light was used, it was placed to the left of the frame. The light was placed so the model would illuminated from one side while the rest of her body would melt into darkness.

This is a digital image processed in Lightroom. The contrast and exposure were adjusted and the image was rendered to a Black & White via selective fesaturation and then cropped.

I’ve been asked if my images are for sale, most are, please ask.

Seeking gallery representation.

Rising from the Smoke

Rising from the Smoke

One light was used, it was placed to the left of the frame and above the model. The light was place this way to create a large highlight and allow the rest of the model’s body to disappear into smoke and darkness. The use of the smoke machine allowed me to intensify the drama and tension in this image.

This is a digital image processed in Lightroom. The contrast and exposure were adjusted and the image was rendered to monochrome via a Lightroom preset and then cropped.

I’ve been asked if my images are for sale, most are, please ask.

I’m seeking gallery representation.
