Sitting Looking Away

I wanted this image to be dark and light areas but still recognizable as a person. When this image is looked it should almost be seen as a still life.

One light was used, it was placed to the left of the frame and slightly to the side of the model.

The contrast and exposure was adjusted and the image was cropped and rendered to Black & White using Lightroom’s Black & White sliders.

Check out my other blog photographystop.wordpress.com. It is mostly film photography and film development and it goes into some technical information

Take a look at my new and ever growing website it is mostly pictorials.

I’ve been asked if my images are for sale, most are, please ask.

Frost on a Flower

This image was originally shot on film. I was using Kodachrome 64 (with an ASA of 64).  This image was  shot in the very early morning with a flash (very low power) to capture the delicate frost. This picture was taken just outside of Wilmington, VT. Every where you look you can find a good image.
