February 28, 2020…Day 2355

Spine and Dimples

I wanted to abstract the model’s torso.

One light was used, it was placed to the left of the frame and slightly to the side of the model.

The contrast and exposure was adjusted and the image was cropped and rendered to Black & White using Lightroom’s Black & White sliders.

February 20, 2020…Day 2347

Legs Crossed

I made this image contrasty and grainy with the idea of creating an image that is dramatic and reminiscent of a half century ago.

One light was used, it was placed to the right of the frame and slightly to the side of the model.

The contrast and exposure was adjusted and the image was cropped and rendered to Black & White using Lightroom’s Black & White sliders.

February 17, 2020…Day 2344

Reaching

Using this pose allowed me to create a little drama. The outstretched leaves the viewer to wonder what the model is reaching for?

Two lights were used, one was placed on either side of the frame about even with the model.

First the negative was scanned into Lightroom. Next the image’s contrast and exposure was adjusted and the image was cropped using Lightroom’s.
